Menopause Pain- Is a Disease

Although it may feel like a, menopause is not a disease or disorder – is a natural transition that occurs for all women when they reach a particular age.

Menopause is the time in the “midst of life” when a woman stops having her period. It happens when a healthy woman,the ovaries stop releasing eggs – usually a gradual natural process. Per menopause is the period of gradual changes that lead to natural menopause.

It commonly affects the hormones, the body and the sensations of a woman. The process can take months or years.

Production of estrogen in the ovaries during per menopause is delayed.  Hormone levels commonly fluctuate, causing changes as they did during adolescence.
