Perhaps we think we have to be relaxed and calm, or that all sorts of conditions must exist for us to be happy. This is not the case; happiness can exist for no reason. The more we practice smiling, laughing and enjoying ourselves for no reason, the more we will discover that we already have what we seek.</p>
<p>Many of us know that laughter is good for us, but we might feel that we have nothing to laugh about; we may feel more like crying. The second stage of The Mystic Rose can help us to release and heal old wounds, unburden sorrows and discover deep peace within.</p>

<p>The Laughter Meditation<br />
When you wake up in the morning, stretch your body-every muscle, cell and fiber-just like a cat. After a few moments, start laughing. Just start. At the beginning you may have to force it a little, saying &#8216;Ha, Ha, Ha,&#8217; or &#8216;Ho, Ho, Ho&#8217; to get the laughter energy moving. Soon, a spontaneous laughter will arise at the sound of your attempts at laughing. Try it for five minutes. Just laugh for no reason at all. Laugh for the sake of laughing.</p>
<p>Try it again for five minutes when you go to bed, just before you go to sleep. Try it in the shower or while driving your car in traffic. Ha, Ha, Ha. Even to say those words out loud will start a transformation in your energy, in your mood.</p>

2. Drink 8 to 12 glasses a day.<br />
According to the Mayo Clinic, a 120-pound individual needs 8 cups of water a day, while a 190-pound person would require 12 cups daily. Dr. Robert Tanchanco says that we should monitor our urine color and keep it on the light side. However, drink only a maximum of 16 glasses a day, and not more.<br />
3. Drink little by little throughout the day.<br />
It is preferable to sip water throughout the day rather than to drink two glasses all at once. This will lessen the stress on the heart (especially if you have heart disease) and give your body more time to absorb it.<br />
4. Don&#8217;t wait until you&#8217;re thirsty to drink water.<br />

Follow this remedy for two months regularly in order to overcome diabetes completely. Those who suffer from excess heat due to fenugreek, and ulcer patients, should take fenugreek with aniseeds. Mix a spoonful of aniseed and two spoonfuls fenugreek seeds and soak them in a ceramic bowl in 200 ml water. Sieve with a cloth in the morning.<br />
Chop four leaves of black plum and grind. Sieve the juice in eight grams water and drink regularly for ten days. Take it every two months for ten days. This juice is very beneficial in case of sugar passing out through urine. Chew four leaves of black plum twice daily in the beginning stages of diabetes to give relief from the third day itself.<br />
Put 60 gm ripe black plums in 300 gm of hot boiling water. Cover the vessel with lid. Crush them nicely after 30 minutes and divide into three portions. Take one portion three times during the day to reduce sugar level.<br />
Dry the black plum seeds in the shade and prepare a powder. Take three grams twice daily with fresh water to overcome diabetes. Continue this medicine for 21 days regularly.</p>

•Avoid intake of starch and rice. Avoid excessive mental work and indigestion. Do not sleep during the daytime, drink water in gulps.<br />
•Barley is also beneficial for diabetes patients. Mix barley flour and gram flour in 5:1 ration and eat regularly for eight to ten days. The glucose does not pass out through urine.<br />
•Roast barley and make a fine powder, make chapatti and eat it for relief.<br />
•A diabetes patient should walk and jog regularly to control sugar level naturally. Brisk walk is beneficial if the person cannot run due to some reasons.</p>
